About Ben Meller
Ben Meller is a passionate, mature and kind-hearted twelve year old singer from Boynton Beach, Florida. He is vocal major at BAK Middle School of the Arts and is a tenor in the advanced chorale. Ben’s accomplishments include 2014 winner of Boca’s Got Talent, the featured vocalist of 2014 AT&T Young Stars along with the 2015 Wellington Idol division 8-12 champ.
Ben is also the lead singer of the rock band, KRUSH. In short amount of time they have achieved 2016 Junior Group of the Year from The Josie Awards in Nashville, featured on the CBS special “Extraordinary People”, Winner of Clematis by Night 20th Anniversary of Battle of Bands, 2015 ALS Jam for the Cure Battle of the Band Champs and featured in West Palm Beach Magazine’s 2016 Artist Spotlight.
Ben has performed at RockFest 80’s, Hard Rock Stadium, Wellington Amphitheater, The Amp in Pompano Beach, RipTide Music Festival, 80’s in the Park, Festival Live Nation. With KRUSH he has opened for acts such as Melissa Etheridge, Smash Mouth, Kendall Schmidt, Vince Neil, Quiet Riot, Paul Rodgers and more.
Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden can be quoted as saying, “What a stunning voice, honestly!” And the famous Charlie Calello, composer, arranger, described Ben as “Pitch perfect and a young Mick Jagger”.
Ben’s dream is to make his mark in the music world by developing his own unique and recognizable sound as a vocalist. He would also like to continue to explore acting, musicals and further develop his skills on the piano. Ben is very grateful for this amazing opportunity Little Dreams has afforded him and feels blessed to be surrounded by such incredible talent.
